Seed of life offers both short-term and long-term barter stays.  But what if you have a greater vision to reveal? Would you like to slow down and experience an Essene Communal Way of life? Yet you are not yet ready to move into this lifestyle full time? Do you have a gift or vision to share, but just need some time, space and support to work on achieving your mission? We offer 4-6 week and up to 3-6 month artist-in-residence programs that align with our specific mission of Spiritual Sovereignty and Genesis 1:29 based lifestyle and will help to wide our audience on these or aligned topics.

Artist in Residency (AIR) programs are a wonderful way for emerging artists to explore their style and become more established. And seasoned artists can use residencies to expand their style and create fresh work. Our approach is a wide-spectrum ‘multi-artist’ style residency that encourages more than traditional painters. This includes, but is not limited to, digital and analog, visual arts, creative writing, musical composition, moving image, architecture and landscape design and interdiscipinary practices. Hanging out with like-minded people in different genres can bring out new inspiration and synergestic possibilites. We also encourage residents to engage with, and enhance the cultural exchange between the Seed of Life and the local Johnson City and Fredericksburg communities.

Any artist may suggest a program of teaching related classes to our local community as their residency, but this would not include presentation, exhibition or concert et al.
